Please be our guest on Saturday, May 4 as we launch the class of 2013 with a commencement ceremony.
The event will be held at 10 a.m. in the Campbell Activity Center (corner of 10th and Mayhew Ave.) on the York College campus. The ceremony will run approximately two hours.
The doors open one hour prior to the ceremony for guests. No tickets are required. The event is open to the public, with seating on a first come first serve basis. No reserved seating is permitted, with the exception of seating arranged before the event for individuals with special needs.
York College alumnus Dr. Michael Westerfield '72, vice president and dean of the graduate college at William Woods University, will deliver the keynote address. The York College Concert Choir will also perform.
The event will be webcast live.
There is limited parking in front of the Campbell Center and side streets. Graduates, please plan to either walk to commencement or park in the gravel lot behind MeGehee or East Hill Church of Christ across from the Freeman Center in order to reserve the closer parking for guests.
