PART-TIME UNDERGRADUATE AND GRADUATE ADJUNCT POSITIONS FOR YORK COLLEGE ONLINE
York College Online is seeking qualified undergraduate instructors in the following disciplines: General and Advanced Accounting, Economics, Health Science, Healthcare Information Management, Mathematics, and Spanish. Also being sought are qualified graduate level adjunct instructors in Curriculum and Instruction and other C&I related courses such as Education Technology and Assessment of C&I.
EFFECTIVE DATE: April 1, 2013
START DATE PREFERRED: As immediately as class enrollments allow. Unpaid web-based training will be provided.
SALARY: Salary is determined by the number of students enrolled per credit hour taught for undergraduate adjuncts. Graduate adjuncts are paid a flat fee per class taught.
JOB DUTIES: Provide up to 9 credit hours of classroom instruction per academic semester teaching a variety of general education, discipline specific upper-division, and graduate level courses. Provide input and support to our online course developers for revisions and new additions to the curriculum. Assist with course development as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS: A doctorate or terminal degree is required for all adjuncts teaching in graduate programs and is preferred for undergraduate adjunct faculty. A master’s degree is required for all undergraduate adjunct instructors, and candidates with discipline specific certifications (i.e. CPA) will be given preference. All candidates must be active members of the churches of Christ.
