Online Faculty PositionsPART-TIME UNDERGRADUATE AND GRADUATE ADJUNCT POSITIONS FOR YORK COLLEGE ONLINE York College Online is seeking qualified undergraduate instructors in the following disciplines: General and Advanced Accounting, Economics, Health Science, Healthcare Information Management, Mathematics, and Spanish. Also being sought are qualified graduate level adjunct instructors in Curriculum and Instruction and other C&I related courses such as Education Technology and Assessment of C&I. EFFECTIVE DATE: April 1, 2013 START DATE PREFERRED: As immediately as class enrollments allow. Unpaid web-based training will be provided. SALARY: Salary is determined by the number of students enrolled per credit hour taught for undergraduate adjuncts. Graduate adjuncts are paid a flat fee per class taught. JOB DUTIES: Provide up to 9 credit hours of classroom instruction per academic semester teaching a variety of general education, discipline specific upper-division, and graduate level courses. Provide input and support to our online course developers for revisions and new additions to the curriculum. Assist with course development as needed. QUALIFICATIONS: A doctorate or terminal degree is required for all adjuncts teaching in graduate programs and is preferred for undergraduate adjunct faculty. A master’s degree is required for all undergraduate adjunct instructors, and candidates with discipline specific certifications (i.e. CPA) will be given preference.
