Biblical Studies

The Biblical Studies program focuses on building a foundation of Biblical literacy and preparation for ministry. Program highlights:

  • Biblical texts and languages
  • Ministry and doctrine
  • Religious history
  • Philosophy
  • Summer church internships
  • Seminar in Ministry (Off-campus guests guide students through discussion of important issues of ministry and faith)
  • Many opportunities for participation in ministry are available

A Biblical Studies degree from York College prepares students for work in:

  • Family and Marriage Counseling
  • Christian education programs

Additionally, the program is designed to prepare students for graduate studies in:
