Class Drop and Refund Policy


2010-2011 Academic Year

If you choose to withdraw from an online course, you must follow these guidelines to request a drop and receive a refund:

1. Submit your request in writing and include your name, student number and the course number/description for the class you wish to drop.

2. Send your request by either email or fax.

3. Drop requests must be received (electronically time-stamped) no later than midnight on the Sunday following the official course launch date (Central Time Zone).  (See below for eligible refund amounts)

If this procedure is not followed, you will be charged the full amount for the course.

Refunds Levels:

100% tuition refund if written notification is received within the first day of the launch of the course.

50% tuition refund if written notification is received prior to midnight of the Sunday following the official launch date (Central Time Zone). 

No tuition refund after the first week of the course.

The technology fee is non-refundable.
