Transfer StudentsMaybe you thought you wanted to go to a big university - and now know it is not your ideal environment. Perhaps you went too far from home the first time - or maybe not far enough. Or you might have had this planned from the very beginning, and have been pursuing your degree at a community college. Whatever your reasons for transferring, we are pleased you are considering York College.
Admissions Process for Transfer Students:Step 1: Apply For Admission- Click Here! This link will refer you to the FREE online application available to all incoming students. There is also a PDF copy of our application that can be printed off and submitted along with a $20.00 processing fee. Step 2: Submit Transcripts/Scores- In order to complete your file York College will need to officially recieve the following:
Step 3: Acceptance- York College Acceptance Policy::NOTE: Official Transcripts must come from each college attended.
1. High school Transcripts----------------Minimum of a 2.0 GPA 2. ----------------Minimum class rank of 50% 3. ACT score (or SAT equivalent)--------Minimum score of 18 4. Official College Transcript(s)----------Minimum of 1.6 GPA (To be accepted unconditionally, must meet two of the first, three requirements and meet requirement #4.)
