The York College Fund

Investing in the hopes and dreams of YC students is the focus of the York College Fund. Donors to the York College Fund provide a “living endowment” underwriting scholarships for today’s students.

York College Fund for 2012-13 helps underwrite a robust scholarship program. Since 2009, YC has awarded about $3 million in scholarship awards each school year assisting more than 90% of our students. These awards are critical for students and families. Funds given to the 2012-13 York College Fund will provide a strong financial aid structure for current and prospective students for this year and next. The 2012-13 goal for the York College Fund is $1 million in gifts between July 1, 2012 and June 30, 2013.

The 2011-12 York College Fund received $1.33 million in gifts from more than 1,000 alumni, friends, businesses churches and foundations. The college has chosen to reduce the goal for the new school year in order to focus on securing needed dollars for special projects and endowment.
