Alumni and Friends
Work Days, July 29-31

Over 30 alumni and friends volunteered their services for three days of prepping the campus for the upcoming school year. Work Days returned for the second year in a row with a few days of hard work, great fellowship and service to York College.

Gurganus Hall was the special focus of this year's work days, though crews worked all across campus. Projects included small repairs and painting, landscaping and campus clean up. Housing and meals were provided by the college for those donating their time to help spruce up the campus.

A big thanks to all who participated in and survived YC Work Days. Thirty-two people donated over 446 man hours sprucing up the campus in anticipation of the new and returning students. A special thanks to Scott and Lisa Eckman (YC,'79) for organizing the event!

Make plans now for next year July 28-30, 2011!
