2011 YC Work Days

York College alumni and friends once again volunteered their services over the weekend to prep the campus for the upcoming school year. Work Days returned for the third year in a row with a few days of hard work, great fellowship and service to York College.

Crews worked all across campus, giving almost every building some TLC. Projects included small repairs, painting, laying sod, fence building, landscaping and campus clean up. Housing and meals were provided by the college for those donating their time to help in the three-day project.

A big thanks to all who participated in and survived YC Work Days. Five states were represented and countless man hours were donated sprucing up the campus in anticipation of the new and returning students. Once again, a special thanks goes to Scott Eckman (YC,'79) for organizing the event!

Make plans now for next year July 26-28, 2012!
