64 to Receive DiplomasDr. Dan Endorf to deliver commencement address
York College will hold its spring commencement exercises at the York High School Auditorium on Saturday, May 9th at 10:00 a.m. Sixty-four students are eligible for their diplomas including seniors who will be "hooded" with the appropriate colors for their major.
Addressing this year's graduates will be Dr. Daniel Endorf who serves as the principal at York High School. Endorf has been in public education as a teacher, coach, and an administrator for thirteen years, serving in the roll of YHS Principal since 2005. He earned his Master’s from the University of Nebraska in 1999 and his Doctorate in Educational Administration from UNL in 2005.
The Dean's Award will be announced at the conclusion of the commencement address, honoring an outstanding senior graduate. Also, the Dale R. Larsen Teacher of Achievement Award will be presented to an outstanding faculty member who has made significant contributions to York College. Past recipients of the award will also be recognized at this time.
The commencement ceremony is open to the public. The high school auditorium is located at 1005 Duke Drive (16th & Delaware).
