Mr. & Ms. York College

York College held their annual All-College Banquet Thursday night at the Stone Creek Event Center in McCool Junction and presented the awards of Mr. and Ms. York College.  YC faculty and staff make the selection for this award using leadership, involvement, academic performance and personality as the criteria.  Sara Firm, senior Vocal Music Education major from Loves Park, Illinois , and Mason Lee, senior Biblical Studies major from High Island, Texas, were honored with YC's highest award. 

Also awarded during the evening were John I. Baker III – Teacher of the Year, Leo Miller – Staff Member of the Year, and Greg Smith – Second Miler Award. Honored for years of service were Gail Miller (25 yrs), Dr. Shane Mountjoy and Dr. Kathleen Wheeler (20 yrs), Michael Becker, Beverly McNeese, and Eric Tremaine (15 yrs), Sheila Hubbard, Isolde Olmstead, and Gary Pinney (10yrs), and Dr. Adrienne Dickson and Travis Stoltenberg (5 yrs).
