Hall of Fame Luncheon

Ceremony set for October 8, 2011

Colis and Dolores Campbell, long-time YC employees (1958-1975) will be honored at the first Hall of Fame ceremony. The induction will take place at a luncheon set for Saturday, October 8, 2011 at 11:30 a.m., at the Phyllis J. Mackey Center on the York College campus.

Lettermen's President, Dickie Hill (YC class of 1964) will preside over the ceremony along with Athletic Director Jared Stark (YC class of 2001) and President Steve Eckman (YC class of 1971). In a communication with YC athletes, Hill shared that, "It is time to honor our coaches and athletes. I am glad to report that Colis and Dolores Campbell have been selected as the first inductees into YC’s Sports Hall of Fame. What a great selection!  Coach Campbell was responsible for getting athletics off the ground while Dolores took care of the cheerleaders and fed the athletes."
