Jan. 13-21: Big Week for YC Athletics

The week ahead is full of action for YC Athletics. The excitement begins over the weekend with the women's and men’s basketball teams playing at home against conference oppenents Central Baptist and College of the Ozarks. Games are Friday, January 13, at 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, January 14, at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. in the Freeman Center.

In wrestling action, the Panthers will host a dual on senior night with Concordia University Thursday, January 19. The Bulldogs are currently ranked #13 in the NAIA. Highlighting the evening will be the Panther's #11 ranked Jake McCoy vs #5 Alfredo Torres of Concordia. Dual starts at 7 p.m. in the Freeman Center.

On Saturday, January 21, the wrestling team will be hosting it's second York College Open of the season. The event will feature between 12-15 teams and 400-500 wrestlers, coaches, and fans. The tournament will take place at the Holthus Fieldhouse (12th & Main) with wrestling starting at 9 a.m.  It is going to be an exciting all day event!

YC's indoor track program kicks off their season January 13-14 at the Holiday Inn Open, hosted by the University of Nebraska in Lincoln.

Cost for admission for all home games/events is $5 for adults and $3 for students. Kids under 12 are free.
