Indoor Track Team Sends 15 to Nationals
This Saturday, February 16, 15 athletes from the York College track and field teams will compete in the 2013 NCCAA Indoor National Championships in Marion, Indiana. This will be the largest group the YC track program has ever taken to the national competition.
“I’m extremely excited to watch these athletes compete at the national level this weekend,” says Head Coach Justin Carver ’07.“They have worked hard and now have a chance to represent the school on a bigger stage. We have some amazing seniors with their last indoor season on the line, and some extraordinary younger athletes starting to make a name for themselves.”
