Students run to stop human trafficking

5K event to support Tiny Hands International

York Campus Ministries is once again partnering with Tiny Hands International to host a fundraising 5K Fun Walk/Run. The event will be November 10th at 10 a.m. starting at the York Aquatic Center (2222 E. 14th Street).

Last year’s student-led 5K raised $1,900 for the organization.

The money raised will support safe homes and care for children intercepted from human traffickers in Nepal.

Tiny Hands International is based in Lincoln, Neb.

All are invited to participate in this worthwhile event. Register by November 9 in order to receive an event tee-shirt. Participants can also register the day of the event, if they do not want a shirt.
