Join us for RoundUp, May 19-25, 2013!

RoundUpRoundUp is a little bit Bible camp, a little bit college, and a whole lot of fun! It’s a week-long retreat for “Golden Agers” hosted on the York College campus.

Attending RoundUp is like a mini-term as a student at York College. You will attend classes, eat in the cafeteria, participate in fun activities, and meet new friends from across the country.

Two of the most fun events of the week are the theme dinner and costume contest, and the end of the week talent show. You don’t have to dress according to the week’s theme to eat dinner, but the festivities are that much better for those that do. As to the talent show on Friday, participants can show their giftedness in a solo performance or join in on an entertaining skit or group sing-along. There will also be time for fun and fellowship every evening.

Important to every RoundUp are the daily Bible classes with YC faculty members. Each day of RoundUp they will bring you sound lessons from scripture with deep insight into the historical context. Their lessons are interesting and educational, as well as uplifting. Each evening there will be time for group worship during devotionals.

Mongers at the Theme DinnerYou will even get to experience the joys of dorm life, as you will stay in our apartment-style residence halls on campus and eat in the excellent college cafeteria. It’s all of the best parts of attending college without the exams or curfew. Schedules are flexible, so you can feel free to skip classes occasionally - we won’t report you to the Dean!

The theme for the week for 2013 RoundUp is The American Revolution presented by Tim McNeese, associate professor of History and chair of the department.

The cost for RoundUp 2013 is $225/individual and $450/couple. This price includes food, lodging, and all activities for the week. After you register, we will send a detailed schedule and list of items you need to bring.

Please return your registration form and $25 deposit by April 22.
