Best College 2009-10

York College has been included in the Best Baccalaureate Colleges in the Midwest Region and is listed among the five top baccalaureate schools in the Midwest for class size. With 82% of all classes having no more than 20 students, YC stands out as a place for one-on-one nurture and individual attention.

York is listed among the top 69 colleges for the Midwest region in the 2009-10 edition of “America’s Best Colleges” by U.S.News & World Report, announced YC President Mr. Steve Eckman. He added, “We are especially pleased about our position on the listing of schools with smaller class size. Personal attention and faculty interaction with students has always been a strength of York College. I’m glad we’re being recognized in such a high profile way.”

The U.S.News & World Report rankings are designed to help consumers evaluate and compare data compiled about more than 1,400 accredited four-year schools.
