Pulpit Minister - The Central Church of Christ is seeking a full-time pulpit minister to work with our elders and deacons in caring for the congregation while performing outreach within our community. The man whom we are looking for must be energetic and display a spirit of enthusiasm as we build the congregation both spiritually and numerically.
We prefer an applicant with a verifiable experience level consisting of sound biblical preaching and teaching skills, able to communicate that knowledge, and foster an atmosphere of scriptural wisdom, insight and practical application. We prefer a family man who is interested in being active in our community. While not a firm requirement, the applicant should be a graduate of one of our Christian (Church of Christ) college/universities, and possess over five years of pulpit preaching experience.
The Central Church of Christ is located in West Plains, Missouri, population 12,000. It is approximately 100 miles southeast of Springfield, Missouri. We are an established congregation with an average attendance of 160-200. We will have one full time pulpit minister and one part time secretary.

Children's Minister - The Burleson (Texas) Church of Christ is currently seeking an individual to fill the full-time position of Children’s Minister. Burleson is a suburb of Fort Worth.
The Children’s Minister (CM) is called to facilitate a meaningful, consistent, and dynamic children’s ministry that recognizes and promotes the understanding that Burleson Church of Christ’s ministry to children is a discipline of the kingdom of God into which our children are welcomed as full participants. The CM must have the understanding and knowledge that parents and grandparents are the most important spiritual influence in the life of each child. The CM is called to help equip each family to be the catalyst of their child’s spiritual development and to help equip our Bible class teachers to provide a quality experience for the children. The CM will coordinate the children’s departments from birth through 6th grade. This person will be responsible for overall curriculum development for Sunday morning classes, Wednesday night classes, VBS, LTC (annual children leadership training state-wide conference), Sunday evening children’s programs (Kingdom Kids, Faith City, Team 56) and other events oriented towards children and their families. The CM will also be responsible for the recruitment and training of volunteers to supervise and teach in these children’s areas. The CM will be responsible for overseeing the direction of Bright Start Christian Preschool. Children's Minister - Riverside Church of Christ, Coppell, Texas, is seeking a Children's Minister. The Riverside church is always striving to be a community of faith where sacrificial love, authentic grace, and practical hope are lived out faithfully and experienced by all. The role, responsibilities and expectations of this ministry include:
Responsibility: Live a God-centered and respectful life, as a responsible member of the ministry staff at Riverside.
Expectations: 1) Live daily, both on and off our campus, in such a way that your life would speak to others of God’s presence in your life. Actively seek to be part of God’s mission in this world and in our community. 2) Devote yourself to growing spiritually by investing intentional time in the Word, developing meaningful spiritual relationships, and seeking out personal spiritual renewal experiences. 3) Follow policies and procedures, including those in the child safety handbook and other stated expectations for staff ministers, such as keeping regular office hours, attending staff meetings, etc. 4) Actively seek out continuing education opportunities such as conferences and lectureships. 5) Serve as a resource for elders. Bring theological and practical insight to children and family ministry issues. Clearly communicate your vision, dreams, and goals for your ministry area to the eldership. Regularly attend elder’s meetings and keep elders aware of any specific ministry concerns.
Responsibility: Coordinate on-going children’s classes for ages birth – 5th grades, summer program, and any other special events throughout the year.
Expectations: 1) Communicate and plan with teachers, children, and parents in order to eliminate confusion and provide structure and consistency. 2) Keep children, parents, and volunteers up to date with information pertaining to present children’s classes and upcoming events using any available resources. 3) Provide curriculum and resources for teachers, leaders, and volunteers in a timely, organized fashion. 4) Supervise and coordinate the Nursery Ministry to ensure care for infants on Sunday and during other events as needed for the church. 5) Strive to insure the safety of children, ministry workers, and volunteers; minimize risk to the church through background checks and check-in/check-out procedures. 6) Continue intentional training of children to foster spiritual formation. Teaching will include spiritual disciplines of prayer, Bible reading and understanding, as well as what it means to follow Christ, serving the people around us.
Responsibility: Recruit and train teachers, leaders, and volunteers to maintain a ministry team size appropriate to current needs.
Expectations: 1) Recruit for specific ministry needs on a quarterly and “as needed basis”. Develop methods to recruit and place current members who may have an interest in Children’s Ministry. 2) Follow up with new members that express interest in volunteering to determine their appropriate placement within the ministry. 3) Use necessary resources to recruit volunteers. 3) Honor, pray for, encourage, and foster relationships with those who work beside you. 4) Provide individual and large group training and support as needed. 5) Provide guidance and support for volunteers handling difficult circumstances with children, parents, or other volunteers. Handle these situations personally as needed.
Responsibility: Coordinate ministry activities with other ministries.
Expectations: 1) Make every effort to ensure smooth transition of schedules and activities so as not to disrupt other ministries or yours. 2) Coordinate age-appropriate activities for children during corporate worship times or special events. 3) Cooperate with and support the volunteer leaders of Leadership Training For Christ and Junior Youth Camp. 4) Cooperate with Butterfly School regarding shared building space. 5) Coordinate classroom needs and communication for family and children’s events with Riverside staff. 6) Work with Adult and Student Ministries to develop and offer periodic classes and experiences for the spiritual development of families at Riverside.

Minister - Northside church of Christ in Bismarck, Illinois, a congregation of 45 – 50 people, is currently seeking a minister who believes his most important mission is leading others to Christ. Our new minister must have an in-depth knowledge of God's word, hold fast to Biblical truths, and be able to effectively communicate those truths with a view toward the growth and edification of the church.
