Terry Seufferlein is a Professor of Bible. He teaches courses in Biblical text, ministry,
missions, preaching, philosophy, theology, and ethics. His doctoral research focused
on spiritual formation, and he has conducted several seminars and workshops on the
topic.
Dr. Seufferlein is the Thomas N. Schulz Chair of Mission Studies, and has done short-term
mission work in Kenya, Honduras, Haiti, New Zealand, Ecuador, China, and Greece, and
has studied in Greece, Italy, Israel, and Egypt.
Terry also developed and directs the Second Chance Education Program, which offers the opportunity for inmates at Nebraska Correctional Center for Women
to earn an Associate of Arts degree.
Terry has ministered with churches in Texas, Virginia, Oklahoma and Iowa, and has
spoken in a dozen different states.
Terry is particularly interested in exploring the intersection of the Bible and culture.
He has presented papers on the theology of zombies, and developed a course on Film
and Faith.
