Campus Security Policies
It is the policy of York University to provide a secure, safe campus and workplace
for students and employees. York University is a private campus and facilities are
for the use of the faculty, staff, and students. Prospective students, alumni, guests,
and persons having business with the University may also have access to these facilities
during open campus hours. Unauthorized persons loitering in or using university facilities
should be reported to university personnel.

- Friday and Saturday: 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.
Incident Reporting Procedures
Student Development and Residence Life staff are on-call 24 hours a day by phone.
Students should contact their Resident Director to report concerns or incidents.
Students, faculty, and staff at York University who observe or are involved in any crime or incident on campus should report it to 911 if appropriate and then contact someone in Residence Life staff or the Dean of Students as soon as possible.
A collection of incidents will be kept on file by the Dean of Students.
