Before joining the York University psychology department, Hill served as pulpit minister
for thirty years in Wisconsin and Washington. Each summer, he volunteers at the Wisconsin
Christian Youth Camp serving at the high school session.
In 2014, Hill graduated with a Master of Science in Professional Counseling to better
serve God's kingdom. Originally from Canton Ohio, Professor Hill has worked vocationally
as a model builder in manufacturing and later producing accident reconstruction models
for courtroom demonstration. In addition to his preaching and teaching ministry, he
also worked in outpatient and inpatient mental health facilities.
Hill also enjoys sports and riding his motorcycle. One surprising fact, he is a former
rugby player.
