Dr. Shannon Leinen is the provost as well dean of online and graduate studies at the
                              York University. Her teaching expertise includes: Organizational Behavior, Marketing,
                              Management, Human Resources, Business Law, Operations, as well as coursework in Communication,
                              Social Media, Sports Administration, Leadership, and Instructional Design. 
Dr. Leinen enjoys publishing on the topics of educational practices, business consulting,
                              Higher Education assessment practices, media analysis, organizational communication
                              and engagement. Dr. Leinen is an active small-business owner as well as an organizational
                              and Higher Education consultant. In academia, she has held the roles of Associate
                              Professor of Communication and Forensics, MBA Program Director, Graduate Council Chair,
                              Competitive Speech Coach, and Instructor of Education, Communication, Business, Hospitality,
                              Business, Leadership, and Sports Administration. 
She enjoys traveling and creating experiential learning opportunities with her students.

                        Dr. Leinen volunteers as a Director of Nebraska Youth Camp, a Mission Committee member
                              at her church, and a coordinator with Operation Ecuador.
