Performing Arts Hall of Fame
The York University Performing Arts Hall of Fame Reception will take place at the Bartholomew Performing Arts Center on Saturday, October 24, at 3 p.m. This event is free and open to the public, no RSVP needed. The 2026 honorees are Dr. Clark Roush, C. Danielle Deal '04, Tisa Lawrence-Krekel '16, and Soren (Tobey '17) Hargrove.

The York University Performing Arts Hall of Fame seeks to recognize outstanding individuals
who have made significant contributions to the York University Performing Arts programs
through their performance, backstage service, technical talents, dedication, commitment,
and accomplishments; both at YU and in some instances after graduation.
To be considered a nominee:
- The nominee should have received their degree from York University at least five years prior, taught at York University for at least five years, or have been of service to York University.
- Faculty and staff members may be nominated upon retirement from York University. On rare occasions current faculty and staff can be nominated.
- Nominees should have been involved in music or theatre programs -- involvement included on stage (choir, drama, department singing groups, Songfest, etc.) or backstage (lights, sound, set building, stage management, etc.)
