Alumni, friends, and university employees put in two days of sweat, labor and service to beautify the campus before the students return for the fall semester. This annual event brought over 30 volunteers to campus last week to pull weeds, spread mulch, trim bushes, paint lampposts, stripe various parking lots, and more. Workdays is organized by Scott '79 and Lisa (Hinrichs '81) Eckman, as well as Justin ‘95 and Becki (North) Milliken ‘97. The Workdays crew tackled small and large projects to improve the physical appearance of campus before students return for the fall semester.

Volunteers came from Kansas, Iowa, Colorado, Texas and more to be a part of this year’s crew and were provided free housing and meals for their services. Thank you to all who gave their time and effort to this worthwhile project. Your mark on the York University landscape is priceless!
