Applying for a Theatre Scholarship
Applying for a scholarship from the theatre department is a three step process. To
be considered, all three steps must be completed. If you have any questions, please

Step 1: Complete the Theatre Scholarship Application
Step 2: Upload Recommendation Letter
Please upload a recommendation letter from a theatre director or teacher.
Step 3: Submit Performance Sample
If you are interested in acting, please submit a video of a previous performance or
of you performing a monologue. Videos can be submitted using an online link or by
emailing the video to Chris Martens (clmartens@york.edu) and John Baker (jibaker@york.edu). If submitting via a weblink please copy and paste the direct link to your video
in the form below.
